Anyone know th real reason why Thursday mornings flight form Rhodes to
GLA was diverted to NCL.
My brother and sister in law were on the flight. They were told half
an hour or so before landing they were going to Newcastle instead of
Glasgow. They were infomed that the aircraft was needed in Newcastle.
The aircraft was on schedule to arrive early into GLA. The flight was
busy but not full.
On arrival they were greeted by around 16 police officers boarding the
flight to calm passenger down. The brother and sister in law were not
aware of anyone causing any problems although people were not happy.
They were even less happy at the police boarding the plane.
They ended up being taxied up the road with an other couple, at a cost
of =A3240 to the airline. However they would have obviously preferred to
have been flown straight home as the flight is at stupid o'clock from
Rhodes.
Anyway anyone hear why this happened, was there a long flight delay
for paxs at NCL?
