Yeah, the set up at CDG T2 was confusing to say the least, combined with
large queues. When I used the route in Feb, I had hand luggage only and
already had a boarding pass cause I'd checked in online, but I was still
made to go round past the check-in area (although I just walked past it
and
went through the departures bit) The signs for the gate appeared to show a
much simpler route than I was sent by. Maybe it was because it was a UK
flight?
