After netting off football effects, Seville last year, Rangers this
year, the total decline is still around 54000. For me, the intersting
part is the decline in the London market by approx 26500 within a
domestic decline of around 32000. International has actually held up a
bit better, although Globespan's cut backs to Hamilton, Boston and
Prague have played a big part in this. No great surprise with
Continental & US Airways given the capacity cut backs.
Sad to note though, is that of the top 10 Regional Air****ts, GLA is
the only one showing decline of >1.0%, and only one of two showing
decline at all, the other being Manchester. Ah well, maybe some day
things might change and GLA perform more like the National average,
which I'm sure would keep most people happy.
