Forgot Rangers played Fiorentina in May.
I'll be honest Domestic traffic doesn't have a big interest to me,
particularly London so didn't really look at those figures.
I'd personally prefer to see increases in International destinations
as i'm more likely to use these services.
Like yourself and Clive I was hoping to see some announcements for the
opening of Skyhub. However with the way oil prices, the economy and
BAA is going I can't see too many positive announcements. I can only
see double Emirates as a possibility. (Which would be fantastic)
I still see people taking their annual holiday abroad. I expect there
will be reductions in people taking second and third breaks. I know I
have personally cut back on last minute breaks abroad due to increased
costs. With the Euro at a high point I=92d expect to see reductions to
Spanish destinations. Turkey will have a big increase this summer.
Anyway I expect we'll see negative figures for a while although I
expect they'll hold up well in July/August. Certainly no where near
-9%.
