Petroleum Petition
This is not a robot doing these. This is hand written and I would hope
that all people would sign this petition please. We all need lower gas
prices.

Dear congress, Senate and all World Wide Petroleum Companies,
As consumers of gas, oil, fuel oil, we have noticed a very
large hike in your prices. Two years ago it started at about $1.50,
last year you raised it to $2.90, and this year it is at $3.30 a gallon
for regular unleaded gas. Your barrels of oil were $75.00 about one
year ago. Now they are probably $85.00 a barrel. We the people of the
petroleum using community need to see the prices come down. We also
believe that there should be more petroleum company competition. We
would like to see the governments of the world break up the large
petroleum companies in to many smaller companies. This way the people
have a choice of where to buy their fuel and there would be more
competition out there for people to choose from.
We ask the Senate and House of the United States itself to enforce every
petroleum rule there is and enforce it strictly with high fines. We ask
the rest of the world to do the same high fines, break up petroleum
companies, and allow freedom of choice.
People who live in outlying communities have to travel greater
distances than those that live in the inlying communities therefore,
this means that rural people end up spending even more money on
petroleum than do the in lying citizens. Congress and large oil
companies please do your part to help us combat high prices.
