The Greenville, IL site was pur****ted to be Belfort's First FAA
commissioned Digiwx AWOS site according to Volume 1, Number 1 of "The
Lion" e-newsletter. Belfort's Ralph F. Petragnani, Debra S. Alascio,
Mark W. Decker, Bruce R. Robinson, Nicholas C. Kaufman and M. Tylor
Burton III proclaimed "the big news for October 2006 was the FAA
commissioning of the DigiWx II installed at Greenville, IL (GRE)
air****t.
Well, SCRATCH THAT!
The BIG news NOW is the Greenville (GRE), IL air****t Digiwx AWOS is NO
LONGER AVAILABLE! As for that e-newsletter and Belfort's Blog, they
were just as fleeting as Greenville's Digiwx AWOS, there have been no
other "Lion" newsletter(s) or blogs published since the charter one(s)
first appeared in November 2006 and died a miserable death just one
month later. Expect the same exact thing from a Belfort Instruments
Digiwx AWOS if you happen to waste your time & money on one!
Some people think I make this stuff up. I DON'T. Check the facts out
for yourself and call Vaisala or All Weather Inc for your AWOS needs.
