I don't know. Probably none, but little things like this, when
aggregated, can be predictive of future desires, and if merchants know
how badly (or not) you want something, they can make adjustments you
might prefer they not make. Amazon did this, for example, but they got
caught.
btw, I don't object to being asked my weight upon boarding an aircraft;
my comment is just on the general idea that it's "ok" if a computer does
the asking but not if a person does. Once a system is in place, other
uses are found for it.
