Fuel Un****ting

by bdavis@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (over easy) May 31, 2006 at 05:06 PM

Hello all!

I have an infrequent problem with my Acros****t 2 that I can't seem to
solve. Sometimes during rolls, inverted flight and some times spins
the engine will quit. I always get it to start right back up after a
few seconds. It seems like I usually have to change my throttle
setting to get it to start again but that might just be a timing
coincidence. I put a new flop tube in the tank late last year and
started flying with my aux fuel pump always on and I thought I had it
fixed. But then I was flying with a friend last week with a little
less than 1/2 a tank and it quit twice on me. The fuel system seems
clean.

System: Inverted 13" flop tube system, 25 gallon tank, no header
tank, Christian inverted oil system, Bendix fuel injector.

Do you guys always fly with full fuel?

Is un****ting somewhat common on flop tube systems?

Anything else I am missing?

Thanks a million!
Bob
