The Dia:Beacon art museum opened in May 2003 (www.diabeacon.org), right
across the river from SWF. If you like contem****ary art, a great
destination in Rifton's crew car. Make sure to stop at McDonald's or BK
on the way over to the art museum, though, because the cafe there is
surprisingly bad.

Great, friendly service. Love the "red carpet" treatment. Also, can't
miss that 11,000+ foot runway! Check out the PilotMall shop too. Neil is
very helpful there! (Only dissapoinment is that I couldn't fly the 727
that was next to me back home.)

Superb FBO. Friendly, courteous staff and line personnel. My children
were very impressed by the red carpet placed by the door of our little
PA-28. Also, the Pilotmall Shop on site was a big plus.

Parked at Rifton while running an errand in Newburgh a couple weeks ago.
As I parked the C-172, I felt like a small fish in a big sea of jets and
turboprops. But the service was impeccable and they were more than happy
to accommodate my short stay, offering me a car to take care of my
business. Good people!

This is the air****t of choice if you want to visit Storm King Art Center
(outstanding outdoor sculpture museum). The Rifton folks lent us a crew
car and helped us find the museum (a 15-minute drive away) even though we
were only buying 15 gallons of Avgas. Got to love that 12,000' runway
too!

Prompt and courteous. They even offered to lend me a crew car to get to a
nearby sandwich shop. The cookies are great.
