Basic question about hot air balloons

by mayniac@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Sheri) Dec 2, 2004 at 03:06 PM

Hello--

I've searched many sites on the web for basic hot air balloon facts --
particularly dimensions -- and can find all sorts of good information
but not what I'm really looking for.

How tall is the average 2-3 person hot air balloon? Not a special
shape or anything. I understand that they're all different depending
on the volume of air needed to lift the desired load, but I'm just
looking for a ball-park figure. It doesn't need to be very accurate.

I have photos from the AIBF that I am sending to a child I sponsor in
another country and I want to tell her an approximate height so that
she has some idea of the real size in the photos.

Thanks!

Sheri
