Or buy an Apple, and stop worrying that every web page you visit puts
you one click away from another infestation that may cripple your
computer or broadcast your sensitive personal data.
The Mac OS doesn't allow any software to be installed without explicit
user permission, including your password. Individual applications
can't get around it, meaning scripts like this won't work on it. It's
not a question of there not being any malware written for the Mac --
the whole idea of the system allowing software to install other
software with the user unaware simply doesn't *exist* on the Mac.
Just food for thought for your next computer purchase. It's worth the
switch.
And yeah, it's off-topic, but so was the spam. Happy new year,
everybody. :-)
