 The Clean Air Act of 1990 mandated Reformulated Gasoline (RFG) in certain
states/counties.  Many other locations opted in to the program.  RFG is a
gasoline with added oxygenates.  In the old days, this was mostly
accomplished using MTBE as an additive.  Since the demise of MTBE, ethanol
is
the primary oxygenate in RFG.
