Well, let me share THIS with you. It's from a civillian who was in NO,
trying to
get a few friends out after Katrina.
" I open carried BOTH. I carried my personally handbuilt 1911's. (On my
Right hip) and my CAR-15 with BETA C-Mag in a tactical sling. NO ONE from
FEMA, local PD or National Guard questioned it."
" I originally had a 870 Magnum Express with me. However, I ended up
GIVING
it and about 50 Rounds of deer slugs to a NOPD officer whose side arm was

.38 REVOLVER!!!!"

I'm headed back down in about 2 hours to rescue some friends who are
still stranded in their home. They live about three blocks from where Fats
Domino was rescued.
