Which, of course, explains why there was a prepared speech for the
possibility
that there would be two dead astronauts on the surface of the moon, and
the
uncertainty of the ability of the moon's surface to sup****t the weight of
the lunar
module, and the near-abort of the landing with less than a minute of fuel
left, and
the quarantine of the astronauts on their return.
And, unlike you, they actually tested things to determine the validity of
their
assumptions.
You've never been at the controls of an aircraft for 1 second. Therefore,
you
have NOTHING valid to base your statement on.
>The Wright brothers made credible statements about flight even
>though they had never done it, and they were essentially correct.
What was that?
"Flight is possible?"
I can test that theory by watching a bird.
>Neither of
>these groups were idiots.
And neither of these groups would let you join them in (as you like
to put it) their treehouse.
>I'm surprised by how many pilots are completely unfamiliar with MSFS.
I'm quite familiar with it.
>You'd
>think they'd enjoy a good simulation of what they like best.
I do. Even though it's a poor simulation of the reality of flight.
It's the best I can do in my den for pennies an hour.
>But pride and
>prejudice are formidable obstacles, I suppose.
They certainly are, for you.
I have the ability to make credible statements about real flying,
and MSFS, because I've done both. You can come to your own
conclusions in regards to "am I".
You cannot make credible statements about real flying because
you have never actually done it for 1 second.
You try, you think you can, but the closest you can come is to
repeat statements from those who have.
