forum, which has been set up expressly for those interested in old
aeroplanes...

it's only been going a few weeks it's already attracted
several thousand image uploads, and several hundred subscribers.
Originally called "Preserved Aircraft", the forum's scope has expanded
quickly to also include a range of interesting "unpreserved" aircraft
including crashes, and flying machines that have simply been abandoned.
Flickr's success owes much to the fact that many of it's contributors
are amateur phographers who are content just to share their experiences
online. Consequently, you'll find images here which you simply won't
ever see in mainstream enthusist forums (like Flypast). And Flickr, by
the way, is enormous.
