Re: Glider curious

How about having your new privates do at least their Silver Badge in the
1-26 before moving them on to something else. My instructor had me do
this,
and I fell in love with the bird and the 1-26 Association. Because of
that
I have now owned one for 8 years, where other wise I would have been
flying
club ****ps all this time.

You may just find out that a number of them would like to buy a 1-26 and
stick with it for a while rather than spending more money, or not being
able
to buy their own bird now.

Despite what is often written on this site, you can fly cross-country in
the
1-26 and have a wonderful time while doing so.
