One guy did spinning several months after he went solo! The result
was that his chances to fly solo were limited until then because of
the need to do dual flying in the K21s. Yes, ideally it would be done
pre-solo but if someone is ready before spinning has been possible is
it better to hold them up (possibly for some time), or send them and
delay transition to the Juniors?

Now most of us are somewhat over medium weight... I flew with a very
light instructor with me in the back seat and she couldn't make it
spin. She is well below medium weight, I am not. Maybe the exact
empty CoG position for the individual glider is an influence?
