I just re-read the post you responded to and it doesn't look like he 
doesn't love flying - he just claimed that you have to love it to endure 
some of the demands of some of the trainers. He had some criticisms of 
training in a Schweizer which seemed to resonate with me (a newcomer). 
Keeping in mind that I have essentially no stick-time in anything other 
than a 2-33 and therefore don't have anything to compare it to, I'd have
to 
agree with one of his statements:

He wrote: "... I remember that I have to push hard on the stick to prevent

that flying crayfish to nose up. And since the stick was far away from my 
body...." Sounds familiar! I noticed during my a*****ows that even with the

2-33A's bungee trim all the way forward I still have to hold the stick 
almost to the end of my arm's reach - and still effect fine motor control.

My arm would definitely start feeling the stress. We tried both an extra 
back cu****on (to bring my torso forward) and forward ballast, but I can't 
say either one helped that much and each had minor downsides. Many tows 
later I think various factors are reducing the issue to a minor annoyance.

Maybe such complaints merely indicate some of us are wusses who would lose

an arm wrestling contest in an instant. ;-)
