Spoilers are primary flight controls?

Further advice for the 2-33 curious:

1) Why use half-spoilers? Slamming them from closed to full open and 
back to adjust the glide path, creating that cool stair-step approach 
profile is a sign of advanced proficiency. And, that special sound lets 
the folks on the ground know you are in the area so they can gather to 
watch.

2) You could aways put the stick under your knee, instead of up against 
it (whittle about three inches off the top of the stick while your CFIG 
is demo'ing loops, if you are a little short on one end).

3) With the shorter stick you can lean forward with your elbows on your 
knees and grab the stick with both hands to get that "fine motor 
control" thing going--just one of many ways around that silly 
European-inspired P-C "ergonomic" crap we keep hearing about. You really 
don't need to see over the nose, usually, as long as you concentrate 
real hard on that yarn-thing.
