Don't fly gliders unless you want to be challanged, enjoy nature and
want to become a better pilot overall.

Sometimes one good thermaling or ridge flight is enough to hook even
the most die hard power pilot.

It sure gives purpose and challange to a flight besides boring holes
in the sky.

And what glider pilot has not been thrilled by having some soaring
birds join him in a thermal and accept
the man and his craft as equals in the sky.

Probably the biggest thing in flying a glider & 2-33 is that you will
actually have to use rudder to coordinate your turns watching the
yaw string and horizon on your HUD (Canopy).

You will also notice that Spoilers are very effective Glide Path
controls on the 2-33.

Also, you will hear and feel when a stall is imminent in a 2-33.

You will also notice that a 2-33 is not the easiest plane to get in to
or out and is not all that comfortable....but it IS the easiest glider
to fly and many
will jokingly say that you are not qualified as a glider pilot until
you have flown something else.
