Hi,
I am working on F100PW100 engine, I try to set its combustion equation,
I did for sea level which fuel consumption rate is 1.7 kg/s, and want
to do for 36000 ft.
some data:
1-sea level:
a) fuel consumption is 1.7 kg/s (taken aviation magazine)
b) air mass rate is 101,696 kg/s
c) I set the combustion equation
2- I need 36 000 ft datas;
a- fuel consumption ??
b- air mass rate: I accounted it as 29,9768 kg/s by considering the
same RPM and the same volumetric rate (m3/s) either sea level and this
altitude.
