I am researching professional societies in aeronautics. I am aware of
the start of the IAS in 1930-32, I was also aware that the SAE has an
aerospace division. In reading the history of the later, it turns out
there was an American Society of Aeronautic Engineers that was merged
in the SAE in 1916. I can find very little about this ASAE, however.
Anyone know more about it?
